- Traditional, Rapid and Instant Inductions

Instant inductions are the newest tool for the professional hypnotist for clinical, street and stage hypnosis sessions, and are quite useful in a variety of settings because they create a powerful reaction and they allow you to get on with the intention of the hypnotic experience.

Traditional induction methods, such as PMR or progressive muscle relaxation, eye-fixation, visualization and awareness inductions are still quite useful in certain situations - over-anxious clients, those who just want to relax, etc - but they often take ten to twenty minutes or longer when done in full. In what we might call ‘unintentional’ situations, this may be driving miles and miles down the highway (highway hypnosis) or watching an intense movie.
